The staff also assists with any recreational equipment, including sailboats and kayaks. All beaches feature indoor/outdoor dining with a full-service bar and take-out options. Pelican Bay property owners frequently take advantage of dining al fresco at these private beach pavilions reserved for residents. Onsite shower and restroom facilities, poolside fitness classes, and beach wheelchairs provide additional convenience.
Ideal for families, South Beach offers two dining options, including Beach Take-Out or the more leisurely Sandbar Restaurant. Families are particularly enamored of the Picnic Pod, featuring picnic tables and gas grills. Sailing, kayaking and volleyball are all popular pastimes on this active stretch of sand.
North Beach is more relaxed and ideal for taking a leisurely stroll alongside the water, shelling, or watching for the playful dolphins known to frequent the area. In order to preserve the area’s natural beauty, the beaches are only available via the Pelican Bay Tram system or through a boardwalk stroll through the mangroves.
